Privacy policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. Who we are
KAELIS (“KAELIS” or “the Firm”) is a law firm based in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the owner of the website kaelislegal.com. This policy explains how we handle the personal data of people who visit the site or contact us, in accordance with Argentine Law No. 25,326 on Personal Data Protection and its supplementary regulations.
You can reach us at contacto@kaelislegal.com.
2. What data we collect
- Data you provide: your name, company (optional), email address, the stage of your project (optional) and the content of the message you send us through the form or by email.
- Technical browsing data: such as IP address, browser type and date and time of access, which are logged automatically on the servers of the provider that hosts the site for security and operational reasons.
The site has no user accounts and does not process payments, and we do not collect sensitive data. Please do not include any in your messages.
3. How we use it
- To answer your inquiry and assess a possible proposal for services.
- To keep up the communication related to that inquiry.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the site.
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, and we do not use it to send you commercial communications you have not requested.
4. How the contact form works
The form does not store your data in a database on the site: when you submit it, your email app opens with the message already drafted, and the message reaches KAELIS from your own email account when you send it. The messages we receive are kept in our mailbox.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The site does not use first-party or third-party cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking purposes, and it does not include audience measurement tools. For that reason we do not display a cookie banner.
The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When this happens, your browser connects to Google servers, which may receive technical data such as your IP address. If we later add cookies or measurement tools, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. Service providers and international transfers
To run the site and email we use technology providers, including Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery) and Zoho (email). These providers may store or process information on servers located outside Argentina. We work with providers that offer appropriate security and confidentiality measures, and by contacting us you accept this transfer.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and, if you engage us, for the period required by applicable professional and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information by writing to us.
8. Your rights
As a data subject you have the right to access, correct and update your data and to request its deletion (articles 14 to 16 of Law No. 25,326). To exercise them, write to contacto@kaelislegal.com.
Under Argentine law, the data subject may exercise the right of access free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, as provided in article 14, paragraph 3 of Law No. 25,326. The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the supervisory authority of Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims from those whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the personal data protection rules in force.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we recommend that you do not send confidential or sensitive information through the form before agreeing on a suitable channel with us.
10. People outside Argentina
The site is primarily aimed at Argentina. If you contact us from another country, we will handle your requests about your data in accordance with the law that applies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the latest update appears at the top of this page.
